Carpenters for Christ (CFC) is a men’s mission ministry made up of over 25 different churches.  These men devote time and talent to building church facilities for rural churches that can afford the cost of construction materials, but not the labor costs.  Men of all ages are invited to join us as we serve the Lord with our hands and heart!

The Carpenters for Christ mission trip for this year is June 6-14 to Fairburn, Georgia.  We will be building a complete facility for a newly planted church from 2009.  This church plant initially met at a local hotel and are now meeting at a local school, and we are excited to help them build their permanent home.

The cost of the trip is only $135, the same price it was when we CFC first began back in 1984.  This fee goes to cover the expenses of this mission effort.  While in Fairburn to build this facility, we will be staying at the Landmark Christian School.

Any man is welcome to join us!  You do not need construction skills to be able to serve and make a difference.  If you are interested, an organization meeting for our team from Montgomery will be on Sunday, May 4, at 2:00 p.m.  We will meet at Eastern Hills Baptist Church on 3604 Pleasant Ridge Road.  At this meeting we will provide you with more details about the trip along with our travel options.  If you have additional questions, want to participate but cannot attend the meeting, or if you would like to sponsor someone going, please contact Dave Furst at 334-562-3355.
